Fiona's story

‘I started by making organic soap for the people I love. It’s an immensely rewarding craft to take a handful of simple, natural ingredients and turn them into a gently cleansing, high conditioning bar, quite unlike commercial detergents.

My hobby became a business by chance – a local independent boutique posted a call for soap makers.  The seed was planted, but it was my daughters who gave me the push. I teach them to follow their dreams and they made me realise it was time to follow mine.’

Our mission as a beauty brand

We’re all about making the most beautiful, ethical soaps that are kind to your skin and kind to the environment. That means sourcing the finest quality organic ingredients to create natural soaps which leave the skin feeling soft and conditioned.

We believe in authenticity. Every ingredient is there for a purpose. We don’t use colourants, synthetic and nature identical perfumes, detergents, hardeners, synthetic foam boosters in our soaps. We prefer to let the natural qualities of the oils and butters shine through.

All our soaps are made with care by people with a real passion and understanding for what they do. Based in the beautiful Stroud valleys, we use a traditional cold process soap making technique which produces a bar rich in natural glycerine. Each bar is hand stamped and hand wrapped in FSC certified paper printed using non toxic vegetable inks.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We are certified organic by the Soil Association. This is the clearest way to show that all aspects of our business are sustainable and environmentally sound.
