Lynda D’Aboh

Age 30-something, Lives in London

Skin type: Dry and Sensitive

Role in life: Tourism market expert and ‘Wonderlusting’ lifestyle & beauty blogger.

A little bit about you:

Glass half-full, excited about random things, joy seeking missile. Far too many interests to list but I love authentic products with a story behind them, food and drink (cooking and stuffing my face – I genuinely love healthy food and think green smoothies are delish but don’t think the occasional fried mars bar is going to kill you). Travel and adventure, art, plants and colour.

Your skin and body issues:

Eczema, hyper pigmentation, dehydration and fine lines

How has your Rare Beauty journey been so far?

As a long time user and lover of artisan skincare it’s often involved hunting them down and taking a punt. It’s great to have a marketplace where you can discover a curated selection of brands that have been vetted so to speak.

What does being a woman mean for you in 2018 (the Centenary Year)?

I’m not sure that it means anything different to me specifically this year. I do look back at how far we’ve come but we still have a way to go for full equality and freedom.
