“Products for ‘mature’ skin (ie, anyone with more than half a wrinkle) tend to promise to erase the signs of ageing all while being super heavy and clogging up your face with goodness knows what.

None of that malarkey from Bloom though – phew! This light and fresh smelling moisturiser is aimed for mature skin (thanks guys!) and does a brilliant job of simply looking after the skin you have without promising to take ten years off you. It’s super easy to use – quickly absorbed yet wonderfully moisturising.

I love the fact that it isn’t gloopy and heavy (although make no mistake – it does feel lovely and creamy) and doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve got something sitting on your skin. My skin felt loved and happy all day long, even while after getting caught in some pretty wet and windy weather while hill walking.

If you like your skin-care simple yet effective, while giving you a much needed dose of herbal and essential oil love, AND if you like it to smell nice without turning your face into a bunch of flowers, I definitely recommend giving Bloom a try.”

Bloom Remedies was founded by Marie Hall, who has a lifelong love of essential oils and has used them for daily mental clarity and care, and for skin nourishment since she was a teen.
