Claire's review - Superfood Balm Raspberry & Cucumber

“As a nutritional therapist, I’m always a tad sceptical about ‘superfoods’ because the term is over-used and over-hyped in the world of kale and tahini. But this Raspberry and Cucumber Balm deserves the moniker because it really is super. You can feel it feeding your skin like a hot casserole on a chilly day. And because the ingredients are nut-free, it’s perfect for anyone who needs to avoid nuts.

The balm has a very light texture and feel – nothing too heavy, which is hard to believe when you see how nourishing it is. My mum, who struggles with really bad psoriasis, gave it a try and found that not only did it help her skin look better, it took away that terrible annoying itch.

My top favourite use of the balm was as a hand and cuticle cream at night time. My hands get quite a bashing, and my fingers and nails do tend to suffer a bit. While I can’t yet that my nails are any stronger after those mini massages, my fingers no longer feel like they are about to flake off (which is nice) and it’s wonderful to wake up with super soft and lovely hands!”
